R E I Q Contracts for selling or buying property are hard to get but we give a free contract with each conveyancing kit and we also supply small quantities at low price delivered by post. They cannot be emailed nor photocopied. When intending to sell make sure you have contracts ready when a buyer expresses interest. Do not risk losing that sale!

We can supply 'R E I Q House and Land  Contract' and also 'R E I Q Contract for Residential Lots in a Community Title Scheme' which covers units and town houses. They are available in lots of two or four at reasonable rates and can be posted Express for faster delivery. Complete selling kits are also available and contain a copy of  contract. Explanations can enable you to use R E I Q contract to your advantage so it pays to obtain the informaton prior to entering into a contract to either buy or sell real estate.

The R E I Q contracts do change quite regularly as new legislation is passed.

A recent alteration is regarding sales of property by foreign residents. This requires the completion of new documents for ALL transactions. Details are included within our kits.

It is likely that changes will again occur stipulating that building inspection reports must be obtained by the vendor and made available to prospective purchasers.

Most property transaction are covered by a R E I Q contract. These are usually printed-out from software which has details of the real estate agent or the solicitor encoded into the software. They are not readily available to the general public. However, because of our very long term association with the R E I Q we are able to obtain and sell blank contracts to those people intending to handle their own transactions.

Free Copy of REIQ Contract!  

Yes! In every conveyancing kit there is a free copy of the REIQ Contract together with details of major changes from the previous edition. This allows you to view your rights and responsibilities in the conveyancing. It can also allow you to enter favourable Special Conditions relating to some of the terms. The kits also contain comments relating to the newest version of contract so you are not basing your actions on out-dated requirements.

Or you can purchase a pack of the latest edition! We can supply a pack of two reiq contracts, @ $32.50 including priority post. The Post Office is not as relaible as it was and we strongly reccomend you use EXPRESS post.for faster delivery. This allows you to sign up a purchaser. You do need at least two contracts which are to be filled out identically - one each for buyer and seller. Legislation demands that transfer of real estate is covered by written contracts.

In Queensland there is a specific contract which covers house and land, and a completely different contract which covers units and town houses. We can supply them both. If you require the contract for units and town houses you will need to phone us, which enables us to help ensure you purchase the correct item.

Selling has two stages – marketing to attract a buyer and then conveyancing, which is the legal transfer from vendor to purchaser.

You should also be able to understand a contract to buy before you are asked  to sign as a buyer. Or you can talk it over with a solicitor at a cost of a few hundred dollars.
