R e i q Contracts available to the public
Reiq contracts are referred to by various names such as Real estate contracts, house contracts, land contracts etc. If being used for buying or selling either vacant land, or land and building in Queensland the appropriate contract is titled ‘REIQ Contract for Houses and Residential Land’.
However, if the property is a Town house, Unit or lot in a Group Title Scheme then you need a ‘REIQ Contract for Residential Lots in a Community Title Scheme’. Both of these contracts require different forms and they must be presented to the purchaser prior to obtaining the purchaser’s signature. If you are selling your own home and are unsure as to which is the appropriate contract phone Legal Kit Specialists who will advise you.
Legal Kit Specialists can supply the REIQ House and Land contracts and the REIQ contract for Lots in a Community Title Scheme to people transferring without the services of real estate agents. Where a property is being transferred between family members, between friends, or between neighbours the services of a real estate agent may not always be necessary. Legal Kit Specialists are able to advise on the appropriate contract and the manner in which it should be completed.
A minimum of two REIQ contracts can be purchased. Alternatively three or four contracts may be better in case the first deal falls through.
There are also kits available to enable the complete conveyancing process to be carried through without the services of a solicitor or conveyancer being required. For further information on either just contracts or for the easy, low-priced kits phone 1300 655 053 now.
